There was a rebellion in the Congress over the candidature of the Nashik Graduate Constituency. There were many accusations and counter-accusations. Brother-in-law of Congress leader Balasaheb Thorat. Sudhir Tambe was also suspended from the party. However, now Satyajit Tambe has made serious allegations against the Maharashtra Congress after winning the election as an independent candidate. "A conspiracy was hatched to trouble Balasaheb Thorat and push our family out of the Congress," alleged Satyajit Tambe.

नाशिक पदवीधर मतदारसंघाच्या उमेदवारीवरून काँग्रेसमध्ये बंडखोरी झाली. त्यावरून अनेक आरोप-प्रत्यारोप झाले. काँग्रेस नेते बाळासाहेब थोरात यांचे मेहुणे डॉ. सुधीर तांबे यांचं पक्षातून निलंबनही झालं. मात्र, आता सत्यजीत तांबे यांनी निवडणुकीत अपक्ष उमेदवार म्हणून विजय मिळवल्यानंतर महाराष्ट्र काँग्रेसवर गंभीर आरोप केले आहेत. “बाळासाहेब थोरात यांना अडचणीत आणण्यासाठी आणि आमच्या कुटुंबाला काँग्रेस बाहेर ढकलण्यासाठी षडयंत्र रचण्यात आले,” असा आरोप सत्यजीत तांबेंनी केला.
